The downstream is the business.
Growing algae is cheap. Taking the biomass apart into ingredients that sell below synthetic is the hard part, and it is the part we do. Each process we finish lowers the cost of the next.
Why this wins.
4 revenue lines from 1 biomass.
A single product extractor pays for the whole crop with one molecule. We take the colour first, then the actives, then hydrolyse what is left into a biostimulant. Nothing goes to biogas, and the price of every line shows it.
Colour pays for the next line.
Natural blue ships today, priced and specified, to brands replacing synthetic dye. It funds the next process and proves the plant works before we ask anyone to believe it.
The plant is partner funded.
We contribute the downstream and the route to market. The round buys our own laboratory and the people who run it.
We are selling, Antler has invested, and the patent on the cascade is filed.
Antler is our only institutional investor to date. The rest are accelerators, programmes and research partners, and we list them as such. The team is on the about page.
The rest is a conversation.
