Human study at the University of Murcia, vehicle controlled, 49 subjects, active at 4%: hydration up 26.7% at 60 minutes by corneometry against roughly 4% on the vehicle, transepidermal water loss down 31% at 60 minutes, elasticity up 14.7% at 28 days by Cutometer. In vitro, reactive oxygen species down 39.7% in keratinocytes and sebum down 29% in sebocytes. The barrier claim is instrumental and is not a repair or medical device claim. Add the liquid to the water phase or at cool down under low to moderate shear; the powder concentrate is pre-hydrated in cold water first. Keep added salt low, since a high electrolyte load collapses the viscosity. COSMOS eligible, ISO 22716 GMP, vegan.
