The spirulina experts

The algae
biorefinery.

We take spirulina biomass apart, apply our process and transform it into natural colour, supplement and cosmetic actives and a biostimulant. Nothing goes to waste.

Getting the colour out is easy. Keeping it through the factory is not.

Algae pigments are strong colours and fragile molecules. Acid breaks them. So do heat, light and time. That is why most shelves still carry synthetic colour. It survives the factory.

Our work starts after the pigment leaves the cell. We change what happens to it from there until it holds at a real pH, at a real temperature, for a real shelf life.

Phycocyanin, the blue protein that makes spirulina blue. It has always been worth more than the biomass around it, and always been too fragile to use.
The ingredients house

We take the whole
batch apart.

Most companies pull one molecule out of the algae and discard the rest. That single product has to pay for the whole crop, which is why natural ingredients cost what they cost.

We built a biorefinery instead. The colours come out first, then the active ingredients, and what is left feeds plants. Four products share the cost of one batch, so each one can be priced lower.

Bar width follows mass. Four saleable products share the cost of one batch, which is why our list prices sit where they do.

Based on 1,000 kg of wet spirulina paste. The bars are dry powders as we sell them, carrier included where the grade has one, so they do not add back up to the input. Most of the difference is water removed in drying.
